This presentation will cover issues as accumulated by the Office of Chief Accountant of the Employee Benefit Security Administration on the performance or lack there of, of CPAs who perform audits of ERISA Plans.
 

About Our Presenter

Besides general tax issues, Scott A. Czaja fills a special niche in servicing employee benefit plans, not-for-profit organizations, estate administration, and charitable planned giving.
 
A Certified Public Accountant, Scott received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Lewis University, and subsequently earned a Master’s Degree in the Science of Taxation from DePaul University in Chicago. While Scott has prepared simple tax returns for schoolteachers, he also has been involved in more complicated tax matters, such as representing clients before the IRS and various state agencies, and worked with the Attorney General’s Office and the FBI on criminal cases. He has also served as an expert witness in employee benefit litigation cases.
